Why is it important?
It is not news that we are having a negative effect on our planet. For years, there have been campaigns and demand for change across all industries to help reduce carbon footprints and to consider the impact we are having in our day-to-day activities.
We understand the importance of making small but consistent changes and that is why sustainability is a core value for AutumnOak Events in everything that is endeavoured.
We are committed to:
o Working with suppliers who also hold this value dear
o Sourcing and contracting sustainable alternatives to single use items (such as favours, stationary etc.) that are equal (if not superior) in quality
o Ensuring travel for suppliers, guests and appointments are kept local and reduced where appropriate
o Offering sustainable ideas across all areas of your event to show how small changes can have a huge impact
o All correspondence completed electronically, including where possible with venues and suppliers
o Reducing, reusing and recycling event waste wherever possible
o Staying up to date with local initiatives and consistently looking for ways to improve and be kinder to our planet
o Carbon offsetting, where appropriate
o Planting one tree for every booking
