About Charlotte…

Hello, my name is Charlotte, Event Planner at AutumnOak Events.

Having spent a few years soul searching, I realised that I wanted to explore my creativity and passion for event planning. After quitting my job in banking, I joined an events planning team at a beautiful Wiltshire hotel where we hosted weddings, birthdays, AGM’s, multi-day training events and everything in between.

After a while, it felt right to head back home to the North East, where I started my qualification in Wedding and Event planning, alongside my new job as a Wedding Coordinator for a hotel in Newcastle. I have since worked with a number of venues across the North East and delivered high quality and memorable events.

I went on to broaden my event planning knowledge and took on a Sales Executive role, planning Stag and Hen do’s across the UK and Europe. It is here that I met Phoebe, and we got on like a house on fire. With our shared passion and knowledge, we decided to create AutumnOak Events together.

Throughout all of this time, the collective consciousness on our planet has expanded and with my hands-on-experience, I realised there was so much more we could be doing to reduce the impact events have on our planet and with my knowledge, I knew I could offer a new perspective on event planning that encourages everyone to do their bit in any way they can.

About Phoebe…

Hey, I’m Phoebe, Event Planner at AutumnOak Events.

It’s always been important to me that no matter what job I have, I find a way to make it my own, and to express my creative side in some way. From working in a multitude of different jobs in the hospitality sector, I realised my passion for helping people, in anyway I can.

For 2 years I worked as an Operations Executive for an event planning company, coordinating with national and international suppliers and venues to ensure the stag and hen parties we created ran smoothly and successfully.

I was in charge of hundreds of bookings at any given time, and it was my sole responsibility to ensure that my bookings went off without a hitch.

I learnt valuable skills in organisation, time management, customer service, and the art of effectively planning an event.

It is at this job where I met Charlotte, and we quickly came to realise our shared interest in helping people, event planning and creativeness.

It’s then that we created AutumnOak Events and started this journey together.
